The Burgos farm is located in the central part of the municipality of Nariño, with an altitude of more than 1800 meters above sea level. This farm has been evolving in the technical area of coffee cultivation. Cristian is a third generation coffee farmer, with his grandfather buying the farm over 50 years ago. Since then they have planted many new  and exotic varieties of coffee, such as Geisha and Pink Bourbon.

Cristian’s new planting and fertilising system has helped him improve the production percentage of his farm. He has encouraged the planting of fruit trees in the middle of coffee cultivation, such as orange, tangerines, guava, and pineapple, enhancing nutrients in the soil.
